Four-day working week would slash UK carbon footprint, report says
The introduction of a four-day working week with no loss of pay would dramatically reduce the UK’s carbon footprint and help the country meet its binding climate targets, according to a report.

I find these claims skeptical because commuting pretty much completely stopped during COVID and carbon emissions barely changed (reduction of 7%). The COVID induced WFH environment has shown that Industry is the chief polluter on a global level and people choosing to commute less or eat less meat is not going to get us to the proper levels of emission reductions.
